Services · Zebra Ledger, Westfield, NJ

not an hourly meter — a fee on one page

Five pieces of work for independent veterinary clinics: the catch-up, the monthly keep, payroll, the quarterly close and the January handoff. Each has a price you can read before you sign, and each stays that price until the scope changes — in writing.

Inside the scope

cut to how a vet practice actually bills

A general ledger built for a retail shop will bury a clinic. Wellness plans are paid monthly but delivered all year. CareCredit pays out net of fees, days later. A relief vet is a 1099 one week and a line in payroll the next.

So the chart of accounts is recut for your revenue lines — exam, surgery, dental, pharmacy, boarding, lab — and each one reads on its own in the quarterly P&L.

We work from the PIMS you already run: Cornerstone, AVImark, ezyVet or Shepherd. We match its daily close to the bank, line against line.

a portal a person with a pencil

Statements are read against the ledger twice, by hand, before anything is called reconciled.

a running meter a number you can plan around

The quote names the accounts, the months and the staff count. Inside that scope the price doesn’t move.

a tax return a clean year for your CPA

We hand over a reconciled year and a tidy folder. They file; most bill less for it.

a corporate group an independent practice

One owner, a partnership, a few associates. That’s the only kind of clinic we learn deeply.

Before you ask

fees, scope and the fine print

What happens if my scope grows mid-engagement?

We stop and send a new quote. You approve it, or we finish what was agreed. The invoice never arrives larger than the page you signed.

Can I take payroll without the monthly keep?

Yes. Payroll is its own engagement: $385 to set up, then $96 a month for up to 12 staff.

What makes a cleanup cost more than $1,840?

Months of missing statements, more than a few accounts, or a PIMS export that has never tied to the bank. The quote names each of those before we start.

Are you open for walk-ins?

Weekdays 10am–5pm at 511 Cumberland St, Westfield, NJ 07090. Ring (732) 535-6537 first so the statements are open on the desk when you arrive.
